800CashToday is a key player in the fast-moving world of real estate lead generation. Their platform connects homeowners looking to sell their property with serious buyers, investors, and house-flippers across the U.S., giving sellers the power to receive multiple competitive offers. With the market heating up, 800CashToday needed a slick, automated, real-time bidding platform that could handle the heat—empowering sellers and buyers to make deals fast and easily. And because buyers and sellers are always on the move, the platform had to be fully mobile responsive, giving users seamless access no matter where they are. A robust administrative control system and sales dashboard for the top management was also required.

Project Goal

The primary goal was to develop a sophisticated real-time bidding platform that would automatically route property sellers’ leads to top buyers in the designated zip codes. The platform needed to handle everything—from lead submission to buyer notifications—with real-time updates and third-party integrations for call automation (hello, Convirza!) and secure payments (Stripe, Authorize.net—you know the drill).

A key piece of the puzzle? Mobile responsiveness. With so much business happening on smartphones, the platform needed to offer a seamless experience for users on any device, ensuring they could track leads, make bids, and manage their accounts from their phones just as easily as from a desktop.

And because growth is always the name of the game, 800CashToday wanted a fully automated referral program to encourage buyers to bring their friends into the action, rewarding them with commission they could use for future bids.

Approach

To build a platform that could juggle real-time bids, manage call leads, and handle a seamless buyer-seller experience, we had to dig deep into the user journey. Our approach involved a collaborative effort with 800CashToday’s internal team to fully understand their business requirements and the intricacies of their lead generation model. We focused on building a platform that would streamline seller-buyer interactions, improve operational efficiency, and facilitate scalability, while ensuring security and transparency.

Working with 800CashToday’s team, we mapped out every pain point and opportunity, focusing on building a solution that was:

  • User-Friendly: For both sellers and buyers, ensuring easy navigation and instant access to what they need.
  • Automated & Scalable: Ready to grow as 800CashToday’s lead generation business expands across markets.
  • Integrated with Third-Party Services: Convirza for calls, Stripe/Authorize.net for payments, leads transfer to partners’ CRMs and Google Maps for geo-targeting, all working like clockwork.
  • Future-Proof: Designed for fast, real-time interactions and the flexibility to handle a growing user base and new features as needed.The development process involved several key phases:
    • User-Friendly Experience on Any Device: Ensuring that the platform was intuitive, fast, and fully responsive, offering a smooth experience on both desktop and mobile.
    • Real-Time Bidding and Automation: Implement an automated system for delivering seller leads to the top bidders in each selected region.
    • Referral Program Automation: Develop a robust referral system where existing buyers could earn commissions for new sign-ups using their affiliate link.
    • Third-Party Integration: Seamlessly integrate Convirza for call automation, Google Maps for location services, CRM integration and payment gateways like Stripe and Authorize.net for secure transactions.
    • Administrative and Buyer Dashboards: Create feature-rich dashboards that allow both admin and buyers to manage and track all business activities.

We used a modern tech stack, including Laravel, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript, alongside API integrations with Convirza, Stripe, and Authorize.net to bring these features to life.

We delivered a fully loaded, real-time bidding platform that turned the lead generation process into a smooth, high-stakes game for both buyers and sellers. Key highlights include:

  • Real-Time Lead Generation and Bidding System:
    Sellers submit their property details via a simple form, and—boom—the top three buyers in their zip code get notified instantly, all in real-time. Buyers get the lead details delivered through email and SMS, so they can jump on the opportunity right away.
  • Call Automation with Convirza Integration:
    Some sellers prefer the phone. No problem. We integrated Convirza’s call tracking and routing system, so sellers can call a toll-free number, and the system automatically connects them to the top three buyers in their area. Everything syncs in real-time with the buyer dashboard, ensuring not a single lead slips through the cracks.
  • Buyer Dashboard and CRM:
    Buyers have full control of their game. Their dashboard gives them everything—lead management, spending tracking, county subscriptions, and CRM features like notes and status updates. They can also set their preferred method for receiving leads (email, SMS, both—you decide!) and keep tabs on their bidding performance. Oh, and if a lead’s no good? There’s an automated refund process built right in.
    • Referral Program Automation: Why keep all the bidding fun to yourself? We built an automated referral program so buyers can invite others to join the platform using their affiliate link. When a new buyer signs up and starts bidding, the referrer gets a commission—automatically added to their balance—ready to be used in future bids. No messy manual tracking—just a clean, automated system to drive growth and engagement.
  • Payment Processing Integration:
    Buyers can easily fund their accounts through integrated payment systems like Stripe and Authorize.net. They can also set spending limits and track transactions directly from their dashboard. Automated notifications let buyers know when their balance is running low, so they’re always ready to pounce on new leads.
  • Interactive Google Maps Integration:
    Sellers could locate and submit their property information using an interactive Google Maps feature, enhancing the accuracy of property submissions. Buyers also benefited from this integration, as they could visualize the bidding landscape and make strategic decisions based on geographic data.
  • Real-Time Notifications & Alerts: In this world of fast-paced bidding, no one wants to miss a thing. Buyers receive real-time notifications if they’re outbid or if new leads pop up in their zip code. Alerts are delivered across email, SMS, and dashboard notifications, so they’re always in the know and ready to jump back into the game.
  • Administrative Control Panel:
    We developed a powerful admin panel that allowed 800CashToday’s internal team to manage buyer and seller data, graphical dashboard, oversee lead distribution, track performance metrics, and generate reports. The admin panel also included tools for the SEO team to manage site content, meta data, and blog posts, as well as handle tasks like setting redirects and adding analytics tracking codes.
